Neurodevelopmental diseases may result from early brain injury or abnormal brain development.
Some of the illnesses in this group can be treated effectively and promptly with pharmaceutical or nonpharmacological therapies, whilst others are chronic and require lifelong management.
You will create a study guide for a disorder that has been assigned as part of this assignment and distribute it to your peers. As a whole, these study aids will be an effective resource for getting ready for your certification exam.

To Get Ready
· You will be assigned by your instructor to a certain DSM-5 neurodevelopmental condition.
· Utilize the Walden Library to learn more about the assigned disease. Create a system of organizing for the crucial facts on the disorder next.
What Was Done
Make a study guide for the disorder you were given. You should include visual aids like concept maps, charts, infographics, photos, color coding, mnemonics, and/or flashcards in your study guide. It should take the form of an overview with references. Be original! It shouldn’t follow the guidelines for an APA paper. The DSM-5 should serve as a foundation for your guide, but it should also be backed by at least three other academic sources.
Areas of importance you should address, but are not limited to, are:
· Signs and symptoms according to the DSM-5
· Differential diagnoses
· Incidence
· Development and course
· Prognosis
· Considerations related to culture, gender, age
· Pharmacological treatments, including any side effects
· Nonpharmacological treatments
· Diagnostics and labs
· Comorbidities
· Legal and ethical considerations
· Pertinent patient education considerations
