There is a system of values that guide the nursing profession. These values facilitate ethical decision-making in “charged” clinical situations. As a nurse, one must be aware of one’s personal beliefs and values (your nursing philosophy).
For this assignment, you will do just that – examine your personal beliefs and values and develop your own personal nursing philosophy. Your philosophy should be at least one page in length, double-spaced and in APA format. Pages 70 to 71 and Chart 3.3 specifically address this assignment should you have a difficult time in getting started.
