Corrections Policy

We want every AceMyHomework article to be accurate. When we get something wrong, we correct it promptly and say so openly. This policy applies to our study guides, subject explainers, writing advice and education news.

What We Correct

  • Factual errors, such as a wrong date, figure, name, formula or definition.
  • Mistakes in worked examples, solutions or citation examples.
  • Statements that are misleading or that leave out information a reader needs.
  • Broken or incorrect links to sources.

Spelling, grammar and formatting fixes that do not change the meaning of an article are made without a correction note.

How to Report an Error

Email support@acemyhomework.com or use our contact page. Please include:

  1. The link to the article.
  2. The sentence or section you believe is wrong.
  3. What you think is correct, with a source if you have one.

What Happens Next

The author or an editor checks the report against reliable sources. If we confirm an error, we fix the article as quickly as we can. If we need more information, we will reply to you. We review every report, including those about older articles.

How Corrections Are Shown

  • When a correction changes a fact, figure or example, we add a dated note at the end of the article explaining what was changed.
  • If an error affected the main point of an article, the note appears near the top.
  • The article's "last updated" date changes whenever we make a correction or a material update.

Clarifications and Updates

A clarification adds context when an article was accurate but could be misunderstood. An update adds new information when facts change after publication, for example a new exam date or a revised citation rule. Both are noted in the article when they change its meaning.

Removing Content

We rarely remove published articles. We may take one down if it cannot be corrected, if it is no longer accurate and cannot be updated, or for legal or privacy reasons. Where possible, we point readers to a relevant, up-to-date page instead.

Read our Editorial Policy to learn how we research and review our content.
