HCR 240 Week 3 Checkpoint File Maintenance in Medisoft

In a computerized medical office, it is important to keep track of changes made to patient files. The reason for this is twofold. First, you want to be able to maintain an accurate and up-to-date record of each patient's medical history. Second, you want to be able to track any changes made to the file in case there is ever a question or dispute about what was in the file at a particular time.

In Medisoft, there are several ways to keep track of file maintenance. First, every time a change is made to a patient's file, the system saves a "revision history." This revision history shows who made the change, what type of change was made, and when the change was made. Second, you can generate reports that show all changes made to files within a certain time period. These reports can be sorted by staff member, type of change, or date range.

Finally, every time a patient's file is viewed or edited, the system automatically creates a log entry. These log entries can be used to track who has accessed a patient's file and when they accessed it.

By keeping track of changes made to patient files using these methods, you can ensure that your patients' records are accurate and up-to-date, and that any changes made are properly documented. Get help with any homework or paper related to Medisoft in nursing.
