Data manipulation language (DML) and data definition language (DDL) are two types of SQL (Structured Query Language) commands that are used to manage and manipulate data in a database.
DML is used to manipulate the data within a database, including inserting, updating, and deleting records. Examples of DML commands include SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, and DELETE.
DDL is used to define the structure and organization of a database, including creating, modifying, and deleting tables and other database objects. Examples of DDL commands include CREATE, ALTER, and DROP.
